The New York State Department of Taxation and Finance recently announced that the State will be changing bank accounts which will require an update for any taxpayers who utilize a bank account with a debit block service. The new banking information will be effective for any payments made beginning on June 25, 2015. Any taxpayers who make electronic payments to New York State will need to update their debit block service to include New York State’s new company ID and name. Any impacted taxpayers should provide the information below to their bank to enable future tax payments to be processed.
