My favorite result of the WG culture is seeing and hearing a common message for all the WG family members when communicating with the outside world. It is also so cool that what Ed G and I made our goal on Day 1 actually worked!
I can’t imagine not doing what I do now. Besides traveling and spending time with my grandchildren, I definitely want to continue working closely with business owners to be successful.
Be engaged with your clients and don’t just go through the mechanical functions of getting the work done. Listen and react to what your clients’ needs are and be proactive in solving them. You don’t have to do it all but develop a network and be able to refer a solution.
My favorite client would be one that is open to being helped and appreciates what their CPA/Advisor can do for them.
