Biography

Brian D. Geissler, a Shareholder at WilkinGuttenplan, joined the firm in 1997 with the McDevitt & Company, P.C. merger. Brian has a broad range of clientele, including family limited partnerships, multi-state consolidated corporations, grantor-type trusts, high-net-worth trusts and estates, non-resident alien individuals, and officers of major corporations.

Brian’s Federal and State taxation knowledge extends beyond compliance and encompasses planning, research, computer software, and audits. Significant areas of taxation include trusts and estates, real estate-related entities, and closely held businesses.

Brian is involved in training new staff in the Tax Department of WilkinGuttenplan and keeping up with the ever-changing world of tax-related software.

  • Brian graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. He continues his education through regular continuing professional education (CPE) and educational seminars.
