Wilkin & Guttenplan, P.C. (WilkinGuttenplan) – WilkinGuttenplan is proud to announce its partnership with Rowan University to support the Post-Baccalaureate Certificate of Accounting CPA Apprenticeship Program. This collaboration is designed to provide aspiring accountants with a direct pathway to CPA licensure through hands-on experience and academic excellence.
The CPA Apprenticeship Program at Rowan through the Rohrer College of Business (RCB) offers students a cost-effective way to complete the 150-credit requirement for CPA licensure while gaining real-world experience at WilkinGuttenplan. Apprentices will receive mentorship, financial support, and valuable on-the-job training to prepare them for successful careers in accounting.
“Our partnership with Rowan University reflects our commitment to developing future accounting professionals,” said Dan Fiorentino, Managing Shareholder at WilkinGuttenplan. “By combining academic rigor with practical experience, we are equipping students with the skills and knowledge necessary to thrive in the industry.”
The program is designed for post-baccalaureate students seeking CPA who have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field from an accredited institution. Through this initiative, WilkinGuttenplan and Rowan aim to bridge the gap between education and professional practice, fostering the next generation of CPAs.
“Rowan University is proud to be at the forefront of innovation in accounting education through this partnership with WilkinGuttenplan,” said RCB Dean Matthew Sarkees. “The CPA Apprenticeship Program offers our students a unique opportunity to gain the practical experience they need to excel in the profession, while fulfilling the academic requirements for CPA licensure. This collaboration is a testament to our commitment to preparing the next generation of accounting leaders with the skills, experience, and support they need to succeed in today’s competitive job market.”
